This policy explains what information Whale Navigator ("we", "us") collects through whalenavigator.com, how we use it and the choices you have. If you have questions, email emmanuel@whalenavigator.com.

What we collect

• Newsletter signups. If you subscribe to our weekly email, we collect your work email address.
• Call bookings. When you book a call, the scheduling is handled by Cal.com. The details you enter there (such as your name, email, company and answers to booking questions) are shared with us so we can prepare for and run the call.
• Qualification answers. The short quiz on our site runs in your browser to suggest whether a pilot is a fit. We don't store your answers.
• Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed, buttons clicked and approximate location. It uses cookies and collects device and browser information. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on.
• Technical data. Our hosting provider (Netlify) processes standard server data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to deliver the site and keep it secure.

How we use it

• To send the newsletter you signed up for.
• To schedule, prepare for and follow up on calls you book.
• To operate, secure and improve the website.

We don't sell your personal information.

Services we use

We rely on a few third parties to run the site. Each processes data under its own privacy policy:

• Netlify: website hosting and form handling.
• Cal.com: call scheduling.
• YouTube: client testimonial videos, loaded only when you press play.
• Google Analytics: website usage statistics.
• Google Fonts: website typography.

Cookies

We use Google Analytics cookies to measure how the site is used. We don't use advertising cookies. Cal.com and YouTube may set their own cookies when you use the booking calendar or play a video. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

How long we keep it

We keep newsletter emails until you unsubscribe, and call booking details for as long as needed to work with you or as required by law.

Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to object to how we use it. To make a request, email emmanuel@whalenavigator.com and we'll respond within 30 days.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
